How Hard Are You?

January 19th, 2010 — 09:46 am

Do you consider yourself a hard person?

Here’s a little test…

Read this and try not to weep:

How would YOU like to think of ending your life crawling in the mud with dead friends around you, while flies eat at the hole in your head and rats feed off the soiled diapers of your elderly compatriots?

Natural disasters can affect anyone at any time and wouldn’t you hope, if you were one of those affected, that someone might show that they care?

If we don’t change the way we unthinkingly fail to support other human beings — until a terrible crisis happens — then sad to say, it is likely that many of us will eventually end up in a sad and neglected state while we simply wait to die… Even so, we may never be as unfortunate than these poor elderly Haitians…

How can we fail to appreciate how fortunate we are?

How can we not help them?

Here is one option to help in moments by making a simple donation via Google’s Haiti Crisis Response web page (click image below):

…or perhaps you are too hard?

Then you have my pity.
