Ahem, yes one might ask “why no answers of late?”

As any of the vast number or regular visitors to this blog (ha, ha — deduct the spammers  and that leaves…errm? ) will be aware, I had originally maintained that the purpose of this blog was at least in part to republish some of what I (perhaps in an overly self-congratulatory way?) considered were worthwhile answers (by me!) that had been provided on the popular Yahoo! Answers forum… and that would otherwise be lost to the miserable depths of that same archive within the week… (for Yahoo! Answers has no great record either for providing truly worthwhile answers to every question, nor yet does it guarantee to provide aprobation even in its most basic form, through the application of ‘best answer status’, for the ACTUAL best answer! Such is the fickle and apathetic nature of the human voting population - indeed a best answer may be proclaimed thanks to one single vote… Is this democracy? It is certainly the reflection of a fractal model of what seems to pass for a democratic voting system in those countries where supposed democracy exists — notwithstanding the the increasingly apparent fallacy of believing that there is any REAL difference between political factions, or options, offered a vote-getting platform in today’s media-driven and corporate-owned so-called-developed-world!)…

But — to get back to the point of the post — insofar as the relaying of self-penned Yahoo! Answers was one objective in publishing this blog, there has not been much evidence of that goal in recent time…

My excuse?

Well here is a quote I came upon, and said much better than I might have, that is now adopted as my excuse for having become a one-trick-pony of late:

Well, so far this year Diarrhoea related illness has killed two hundred times more people than the much-media-lauded, unfairly-so-called Swine flu.

Swine flu, which by accounts is a strange combination of human, bird and swine influenza viruses (coincidentally the very viral agents being ‘combined’ for research purposes by large Pharmaceutical company labs, who were develping novel ‘just-in-case’ pilot vaccines, just prior to the outbreak… hmm, strange that?) had by mid-November 2009 been recorded as the cause of more than 8,ooo deaths worldwide.

During this time Diarrhoea-related illnesses had killed in excess of 1.6 million… but we haven’t heard much about Diarrhoea… the nearest we have is the quality of media coverage of the Swine flu which has been somewhat akin to liquid sh*t!

True, Swine flu has carried more victims off than Leprosy has managed to do so far this year… but it has so far proven that this relatively mild flu has been a better stimulant for creating Pharmaceutical profits than the major threat it was (and is still) being ‘talked up’ to be!

Admittedly even Diarrhoea ‘runs away’ into relative insignificance compared with 2009’s current Cancer death stats (almost 6.5 million) and Cardio-vascular disease death (nigh-on 15 million!!!). We know these are issues, I guess, but even they get far less news column inches than the relatively ‘pathetic threat’ of Swine flu has so far racked-up!

The BAD NEWS…

Well there is always bad news… the luke warm response to the fast-tracked vaccines from the Big Pharma boys, with uptake well below expectations and hopes (of Governments and Pharma), could just be the incentive they need to release a far more serious viral agent into the population in the coming year… A kind of ‘told you so’ punishment being lined up for all those naughty members of the proletariat who have favored the ‘alternative media’ version and advice, over the ‘official recommendations’ regarding the ‘Flu Menace’!

Indeed some suspect that this ‘operation’ is already underway with talk of the emergence of a ‘Super strain’ of  ‘Swine flu’ in the Ukraine, which has seen 70 thousand hospitalizations in a very short space of time along with worryingly rising death stats.

There are already ‘conspiracy theories’ bouncing around about the possibility that this was a deliberate viral attack, delivered by air (via crop spraying planes) and potentially a ‘next step’ strategy to push the case for vaccines so that uptake improves…

With the possibility that vaccines may themselves have been engineered with an aim in the slightly longer term to trigger life-shortening ailments… this looks like a possible pincer movement aimed at achieving population culling targets with some effectiveness within the coming few years… (Just be assured that if such things are true, those who are perpetrating them would say, no doubt, thay are doing so with ‘best intentions’… ‘to save the world from global collapse due to over-population’ …and they’ll probably even claim to have ‘God on their side’!)

Naturally this type of outlandish theory may all be ridiculous, pie-in-the-sky speculation and everyone in charge of World Governments and Global Pharmaceutical Companies may simply be very nice, ethical, well-meaning, selfless protectors of humanity…

Or, on the other hand they may not…

Only time will tell…

Whatever the truth your own best bet, either way, is to try an avoid unneccessary additional pollution of your ‘one-and-only’ personal biological system (via any means — be that vaccines, beer, cigarettes, processed food or even poisonous-brain-addling-reality-TV — particularly of the ‘pseudo-celebrity’ variety) and to enhance your own natural immunity through adopting optimal diet, exercise and supplementation regimes.
