On Becoming a Lab Rat

September 3rd, 2009 — 07:05 pm

So the World Health Organization (WHO) have made it clear that all early adopters of the fast-tracked swine flu vaccines will in fact be monitored to provide a fast way to get real data about the safety of the drugs!

QUOTE:
“… Time constraints mean that clinical data at the time when pandemic vaccines are first administered will inevitably be limited. Further testing of safety and effectiveness will need to take place after administration of the vaccine has begun.

For these reasons, WHO advises all countries administering pandemic vaccines to conduct intensive monitoring for safety and efficacy, and many countries have plans in place for doing so. On the positive side, mass vaccination campaigns can generate significant safety data within a few weeks.

International sharing of data from such post-marketing surveillance will be vital in guiding risk-benefit assessments and determining whether changes in vaccination policies are needed. …” (ref below)

… OK

So given that all balanced media reports about so-called Swine Flu (an unfair blight on our the poor pig! surely Pharma-Flu would have been more appropriate?) being a relatively mild, if highly contagious, form of influenza that will lay the average healthy person low for a few days with a fever/temperature, sore throat and sniffles, but then disapper, leaving them most likely naturally (and far more effectively than a manufactureed vaccine) immunized against future events involving similar flu strains …

Who is going to jump up, profer their arm, and become one of the early lab rats for this acknowledged worldwide vaccine safety data gathering exercise?

Not me!
